Preparing for your special needs child’s future can be a daunting task. Join us for our February meeting as Annabel Blanchard, Esq. will discuss the complex world of special needs trusts, conservatorships and how certain insurances can act as trusts.

Annabel joined the firm of Newman, Aaronson and Vanaman in January of 2015 assisting families with estate and special needs planning, probate, Trust Administration and Limited Conservatorships. Annabel enjoys providing families with a sense of well-being by designing their personalized estate plans. Specifically, Annabel has a passion for working with individuals with special needs, and feels a sense of connection to this population.

Annabel graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 2001 and received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with a minor in Film Criticism. After graduating from Berkeley, she worked in film and advertising for five years before deciding to pursue a legal career. Annabel enrolled in Southwestern University School of Law, where she completed her legal education and received the Paul Wildman Scholarship for Academic Achievement. In 2008 she was admitted to the bar, and has been practicing estate and special needs planning ever since.
