LA FEAT currently offers Newly Diagnosed Meetings, designed to provide parents and caregivers information on the many issues you will face when dealing with the Autism Spectrum Diagnosis 299.00 (F84.0). Topics covered at these meetings generally include how to find and receive effective research-based treatments, along with how you can fund treatments through Regional Centers, School Districts, Insurance companies or a combination of all three.
Our Newly Diagnosed meetings are open to any parent or family member, and there is no charge for attending.
Meetings are normally held on the 2nd Monday of each month 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Club Hall of Hermosa Beach.
